Fg Wilson recently launched an upgraded range of sound-attenuated enclosures for 350–938 kVAgenerator sets. Featuring an innovative and functional design, these enclosures overcome the limitations of extreme operating environments. Their exceptional ruggedness and rain protection ensure stable Generator operation in demanding settings—such as construction sites and outdoor work zones—garnering significant industry attention.
As a critical protective component, the enclosure's performance directly impacts the Generator Set's service life and operational stability.

In outdoor operations, rain exposure is a major factor affecting generator safety. Moisture ingress can easily cause short circuits in electrical components, leading to core component failures that not only disrupt work schedules but can also cause permanent equipment damage. To address this challenge, FG Wilson's R&D team engineered the series with outstanding rain protection capabilities, ensuring reliable performance even in wet weather.

The enclosures have undergone rigorous waterproofing tests, with every design repeatedly validated to ensure that internal live components remain dry in humid and rainy conditions. Structural optimizations completely eliminate water pooling beneath the generator air intake, fundamentally preventing electrical faults caused by rainwater backflow or immersion, and comprehensively safeguarding the generator's core components. Additionally, the enclosures feature an integrated exhaust silencer; this design balances protection with noise reduction, combining practicality with environmental responsibility.

An FG Wilson representative stated: "We remain dedicated to providing users with increasingly reliable and durable generator set enclosures. The upgrade to the 350–938 kVA range represents a targeted optimization designed to meet the demands of extreme operating environments. Whether through robust damage resistance or superior rain protection, our goal is to ensure users benefit from stable, efficient power generation across a wide range of challenging scenarios. Moving forward, we will continue to invest in R&D to launch high-quality products that align with market needs."
